Brackenridge Park Golf CourseBrackenridge Park Golf Course is an historic 18-hole golf course that still retains some of its original layout combined with updated holes and 30 new bunkers, following a one-year facelift in 2008.

Brackenridge is located in the heart of San Antonio and is considered the crown jewel among the city's municipal golf courses. It is the oldest 18-hole public golf course in the state and was designed by renowned golf course designer, A.W. Tillinghast in 1916.

Recent renovations include improvements to the greens, tees, fairways, 3 updated holes and 30 new bunkers. The remaining 15 holes still retain the incongruous square greens for which designer Tillinghast was known for.

Brackenridge has won numerous awards and accolades. It was the first golf facility listed in the Texas Registry of Historic Sites, and was inducted into the Texas Golf Hall of Fame and the Texas Open Hall of Honor. Brackenridge hosted the Texas Open Golf Tournament for more than 25 years.

The renovated golf course measures 6,263 yards from the championship tees with a par of 71.
