San Antonio Children's MuseumThe San Antonio Children's Museum is a world-class interactive experience for children ages 0-10 in the heart of downtown San Antonio. More than 80 different hands-on exhibits fill the 3-story museum, where the motto-of-the-day is "Where kids play to learn, and adults learn to play!"

The museum opened in September 1995 and is just a short walk from the Alamo. An exciting educational experience, the San Antonio Children's Museum focuses on early childhood learning, especially in the creative arts, sciences and early literacy.

Children can explore and learn a variety of subjects that promise to pique their interest and encourage further learning. Young scholars can explore the properties of bubbles, learn about nutrition and healthy grocery shopping, coordinate flights and luggage at a kid-sized airport, go on a reading adventure and learn about the science of dentistry at the Tooth Booth, just for starters.

In March 2010, the new and improved Tot Spot opened its doors for guests up to 36 months. Areas in the Tot Spot include the Baby Zone, Sensory Zone, Gross Motor Zone and Music Zone.
